About the Production

Following a sold-out season in the Adelaide Botanic Garden, Twelfth Night returned for a summer season at Adelaide’s iconic Carrick Hill. The play’s raucous festivities were timed for the calendar date of twelfth night, adding to the post-Christmas spirit. Situated on a 100-acre estate in the Adelaide foothills, Carrick Hill is also home to 20 hectares of Eucalyptus macrocarpa woodland. Capped at 200 audience members per night, guests enjoyed a sunset walk in the gardens before sampling drinks and nibbles at Ursula’s gin bar. Lutist James Logan played live while Tabel Catering delivered plant-based picnics to guests on the lawns throughout the performance. 100% of all ticket fees were donated to Fresh Start by Humanitix. The production was carbon-offset through biodiversity restoration programs.
